TCP 322 - Embossing

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's time for a new TCP Tuesday Challenge over at The Cat's Pajamas.  This time we want to see you use some type of embossing on your projects.

I love embossing powder, so I couldn't resist using it with Bunny the Astronaut in the sweet set, Fly High -

I feel like I've been doing a lot of galaxies and oceans lately, perhaps I'm in a bit of a rut.  This time I used distress ink and embossing enamel to create the Milky Way for Bunny.  I got a Milwaukee heat gun a while back and I'm really loving it.  It heats up very fast.  So far I would recommend it highly if you love embossing as much as I do.
Here are the details of the challenge -

  • Every other Tuesday a new challenge will be posted on The Cat’s Pajamas blog and our Facebook page.

  • If you want to play along you just upload your design to The Cat’s Pajamas blog page using the InLinkz button by the Monday, 11:55 EDT before the next challenge.

  • You are not required to use a Cat’s Pajamas stamp or die but if you have them we would love to see them.

  • On the following TCP Tuesday, the winner will be chosen from the previous challenge and will receive a Cat Cash Voucher for $10 or $15 if a TCP product is used.

  • For more ideas, stop in and see JulieNancy and Wendy.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Looking forward to seeing your wonderful creations!

    AYLI Shaped or Standard?

It's time for another As You Like It Challenge.  This fortnight our challenge theme is shaped or standard card.  Use your favorite and tell us why it's your favorite.

This week our wonderful sponsor is:

Here is my card, using my favorite which is a standard A2 (4.25 x 5.5")  -

Don't get me wrong, I love the wonderful shaped cards.  I especially love using the Go Kreate dies to make all the lovely shapes.  It's just that it is so much easier and more affordable to send a standard card.

I can't wait to see your creations and learn whether you like shaped cards or standard cards and how you make your shapes.  Come on now, head back to the AYLI blog to link up your creation to we can learn.  While you are there, check out the prize that's up for grabs and take a look at the gorgeous creations the DT made for you to see!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope your week is going well!

It's time for another CRAFT Challenge!  We would love for you to join us in creating a Christmas creation.

Our Sponsor this week is -

Nikki has some seriously beautiful images in her store.  I was fortunate enough to use Dove Snow Winter Fairy Neva -

This image is gorgeous, but it was almost more that my poor little coloring skills could handle.  There is a lot of sparkle that doesn't show in this photo, which is actually pretty nice.  Overall, I am pleased with the way it turned out.

We would love for you to join us this week at CRAFT Challenge.  Head on over an link up for a chance to win 3 Nikki Burnett images of your choice.

    Thanks for stopping by!

Surf's Up at Little Red Wagon

Hi everyone!  Well, school is starting here and Summer is winding down other places, so I thought it might be fun to do a Surf's Up challenge to usher it out with style.  Now, for this challenge I had in mind, literally surfing or ocean type scenes with mermaid or fishes...but to make it easier lets just go with anything tropical.

Here's my card featuring a Sandra Caldwell image from Babycakes Digis and Designs -

He is called Bearly a Surfer, and I just love him!  Quite honestly I love all of Sandra's designs.

I'm hoping you'll join us this week at Little Red Wagon.  We are looking forward to seeing what your create!
